Premier CDC Goals

Located in Plainfield, Premier CDC seeks to establish itself as a premier nonprofit developer and manager of service-enriched mix-income rental housing in central New Jersey. Established in 2007 as a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, PCDC serves primarily Plainfield, Union County, but have strong ties to Middlesex, Somerset and Monmouth counties in New Jersey

The PCDC will develop mix-income housing developments via partnerships with local development companies. Strategically PCDC will partner with community neighborhoods to serve as the primary sponsor. In this role, community neighbors provide input regarding the needs of the community, project design, and access to land. The PCDC plans to prioritize development project as they become available utilizing a mix of Balancing Housing subsidies, HOME funds, Community Development Block Grant and private funds as the primary financing vehicles.

Community Access Unlimited - http://www.caunj.org - The purposes to provide community access through effective, systematic, comprehensive support services for people with disabilities and their families.

Housing & Community Development Network NJ - http://www.hcdnnj.org - statewide association that support the creation of housing and economic opportunities for low and moderate income New Jerseyans.

NJ Citizen Action - https://njcitizenaction.org - NJCA is a statewide grassroots organization fighting for social, racial and economic justice. Join the movement for justice.

Union County Housing Division – http://ucnj.org - Provide HOME funds for Community Housing Development Corporation (CHDO) for home-ownership opportunity

Yes Girl – http://www.yesgirlinc.org - Empower females ages 14-21 to become leaders and change agents in their communities by building self-esteem, embracing inner creativity, and developing positive social capital.

C.U.R.E – Work with youth to educate them on health, physical health and nutrition. They also provide self-esteem building practices.

Housing Authority of Plainfield – http://www.hap-nj.org - Provide social programs to public housing residents to assist tenant become self-sufficiency.
