First Time Home Buying

To enhance our mission of promoting economic opportunities for working families to attain homeownership,  Premier Community Development Corp. offers first time home buyer one on one counseling featuring a variety of topics including budgeting and credit, and the mortgage application process, which will allow you to make smart decisions throughout the home buying process. Additional issues discussed are negotiating the contract of sale, the closing process and homeowner responsibilities. We also connect you to the most affordable loan products including down payment assistance and/ or closing cost assistance programs for which you may qualify.  

In addition to first time home buying, landlord training enables purchasers of multifamily homes to understand their rights and responsibilities of being a landlord/ landlady, as well as maintaining property so to supplement the homeowners’ income in paying for property as well as building wealth. Participants receive a certificate of completion upon completing the programs.

Credit Counseling/Repair

Premier CDC offers seminars and counsels individuals re: credit enhancement, budgeting and savings, money and banking and establishing attainable goals to financial freedom.

Foreclosure Intervention/Prevention
​

Premier CDC offers seminars and counsels individuals who are experiencing the impact of pending foreclosure through referral services.  Our counselors work with homeowners to identify the source of hardship, and explain options for keeping the home as well as liquidation.
